- Services
Senior Movers provides downsizing, decluttering, move coordination, estate clearings, space planning, and related services for seniors and their families.
1.1 Service Availability
- Our services are currently available within the Cape Town Metropole areas.
- Services must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services at our discretion.
- Payments & Pricing
2.1 Pricing
- Prices are quoted based on the services required. Custom quotes may apply based on the complexity of your needs.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice but will not affect ongoing bookings.
2.2 Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required to confirm bookings.
- Full payment must be made before or upon completion of services.
- We accept EFT, credit card and cash.
2.3 Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of service will be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is made at least 7 days in advance.
- If we cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.
- Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate information regarding their needs, property access, and any special requirements.
- Clients must ensure valuables and personal items are secured before services commence.
- If additional work is required beyond the agreed service scope, extra charges may apply.
- Liability & Limitations
- While we take utmost care in handling items, Senior Movers is not liable for accidental loss or damage unless caused by proven negligence.
- We do not transport or store hazardous materials, illegal goods, or perishable items.
- Our services do not include legal or financial advice. Clients are encouraged to seek professional guidance where necessary.
- Privacy & Data Protection
- We collect and process personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Your personal data will only be used for service provision and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
- Third-Party Services
- We may recommend or coordinate with third-party providers (e.g., moving companies, estate sale experts, storage facilities).
- We are not responsible for the actions, services, or policies of these third parties.
- Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes must first be addressed through written communication to contactus@seniormovers
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled in accordance with South African laws and referred to mediation or arbitration if necessary.
- Amendments to Terms
- We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
